Call for Workshops

We invite you to submit your workshop proposals for the upcoming TRUST’24, hosted by the IEEE Blockchain Group Finland and the Helsinki Blockchain Center, taking place in Helsinki/Finland on November 20-21, 2024.

Overview

Workshops at the TRUST’24 provide an interactive platform for participants to delve deeper into specific areas of blockchain technologies, encouraging collaborative discussion, idea exchange, and innovation. We are looking for proposals that cover a broad spectrum of topics related to blockchain technology, IoT, digital identity, DeFi, supply chain, cybersecurity, etc. Workshops should be designed to offer attendees hands-on experiences, foster open dialogue, and build connections within the community.

Submission Guidelines

We welcome workshop proposals that are original, engaging, and relevant to the symposium’s themes. Each proposal should include the following details:

– Workshop Title: A concise and descriptive title.

– Abstract: A summary (up to 300 words) outlining the workshop’s objectives, scope, and significance. Clearly state the expected outcomes for participants.

– Target Audience: Specify the intended audience and any prerequisites for participation.

– Format: Describe the structure of the workshop (e.g., presentations, group discussions, hands-on activities) and the estimated duration (typically 90-120 minutes).

– Organizers: Provide a brief biography of the workshop organizers, including relevant experience and contact information.

– Equipment and Resources: List any specific equipment or materials required for the workshop.

Submission Process

Please submit your workshop proposals through our EasyChair portal by October 15, 2024. All proposals will be peer-reviewed by the TRUST’24 Workshop Committee, and selected workshops will be featured as part of the symposium’s official program.

Review Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

– Relevance: The workshop’s relevance to the symposium themes and its appeal to the target audience.

– Engagement: The potential for participant interaction and engagement during the workshop.

– Expertise: The organizers’ expertise and their ability to facilitate a meaningful workshop.
